Course Tracking and Scoring Outside of a LMS

We are using Captivate 2017. If we do not upload to a LMS, but rather have users access a HTML/SWF or PDF published file from another source such as SharePoint, is there a way to have tracking and have scoring or are these only on the LMS side or best utilized in an LMS? Thank you.

With some scripting, you can write the results out to Google Sheets. We do this regularly for a specific group of users who don't have access to our LMS.

A SCORM-compliant LMS is definitely your best option if you want to track user interaction with the course and report on their scoring.

Any other solution (e.g. using the Internal Server option in Captivate) requires having access to good technical skills as well as a web server running PHP.
