Hi,

I have successfully uploaded the SCORM 1.2 output on LMS. Now when a candidate takes the course, Candidate sees a button Incomplete below the content/slide (Image below). Can we edit this work "Incomplete" to "In progress" or something?

I can see the there are three options to course template in preferences. But, Don'r know how to edit or customize it. LMS is TalentLMS. Don't know is LMS has that setting to change button name.

Tried to search topics but couldn't get it, so starting new discussion.

If you are saying that that button is coming from the LMS, there is nothing you can do. Even if there was, the only values allowed in the LMS for completion status are:

    “completed”, “incomplete”, “not attempted”, “unknown”

As mentioned earlier by TLCMediaDesign and @lilybiri this should not be an option from LMS, I would also agree to that.

This issue seems to appearing from Captivate projects itself. I have seen similar issue once or twice and I have to admit that its's very rare and difficult to reproduce. I think you might have used some old template or copy pasted the content from other project (just a guess). Surprisingly, when it occurred to me, similar kind of button was appearing on one slide and it was not available in Timeline too. I had no choice but delete that slide and add a new one.

can you share some more information about the project how it was created originally.

    Hi,

This button is not within the slide area. Imagine course runs in a window

within browser on LMS. This button appears below that window within the

    browser page.

Observation and question: scormdriver.js has "incomplete" word many times.

Will it work if we change it to "In progress".

    Details about project:

    - Project was created from scratch though too many changes in the template

    - No theme is used.

    - LMS is TalentLMS

Please let me know if you want further details.

That was what TLCMediaDesign and myself  suspected, it didn't look to be in the Captivate slides, hence the answers that it is linked with the LMS, not really to CP.

    Thanks TLCMediaDesign!

I'm not concerned about what LMS shows in a status but. I don't know if "Incomplete" word needs to be changed from Captivate or not. In my post above, the screenshot you see has Incomplete button at the bottom of the course content. I want to edit that text actually.

CP9 preferences have Course status as Incomplete. But, what is template? Options are Default, Custom, and SendTrackingDataAtEnd.

What if I choose custom template? I don't know how to edit it.

I cannot remember having seen that 'incomplete' mention in the LMS's I have used, which means that I suspect this to be particular to that LMS.

As for the SCORM templates: with the default template there is transfer of data to the LMS after each slide, with the other template data is only transferred once at the end.
