CP 2017: CC formatting messed up after update?

Hello,

I have republished a module made in CP 9 with CP 2017 and the old CC seem:

a. much too small

b. line break cuts of the text

c. Only shows first entry of CC per slide then stops displaying any CC until pressing the CC/text version button again.

Why is that? Do I have to go through all old modules I want to update and change CC?
Also what is the setting to replicate my old look. How do I get a CC to display throughout the module.

Or rather do I have to reinstall CP 9?
