Has anyone experienced any problems using the right-mouse click functionality when adding a Captivate into an Articulate? It's working fine when I preview the project, or view the published Captivate SWF or HTML file, but it's not working when I insert the published Flash file into Articulate and then try it in the published Articulate. I'm using AS2 and Flash Player v10.

    Thank you!

Hi, I had the same problem when I tried to publish my project to Adobe Connect Pro.  I'm not sure where you're tyring to publish.

After some too'ing and fro'ing with the Adobe Help Desk (UK) and getting no where, I tweeted RJ (product Evanalist for Adobe Captivate) and he sent this:

Unfortunately, right-click is only supported inside the Browser and not in Connect. Here's more info: http://bit.ly/PGDOV

You can follow RJ's tweets (he's so good at getting back to you) here:  http://twitter.com/rjacquez/

If you're publishing to Adobe Connect Pro, publish as a zip file.  The zip contains the HTML file so the right-click works.

    Thanks

I'm having a problem with the right-click functionality too. I'm using a trial of Cp4 and created a tutorial in Training mode that has one slide with a right-click. I set Enable Accessability to UNchecked, and on the Publish Dialogue box I've tried setting Flash PLayer Version to 8 and 10.

The right-click works fine in Preview mode, but not when run from IE8 when published. When I right click on that slide I get the little Flash Player menu with the following options:

    Settings...

    About Adobe FlashPlayer 10

Does this have something to do with recording in Training mode? What am I missing??

    Thanks,

    Wayne

    Hi there

When you say you are testing after publishing, do you simply mean that you are testing from your hard drive after creating the output? Or do you mean testing after publishing to a server?

If you mean testing from your hard drive you could be seeing that the Flash Player is blocking things. If this is the case the tutorial linked below may help.

    Hi there

The answer is very simple. You cannot have Section 508 (Accessibility) and use Right-click functionality. If you need 508 compliance, you sacrifice Right-click. If you need Right-click, you sacrifice 508 compliance.
