CP 5.5 and Internet Cookies

I have a project that requires the student to select a role to see training modules for that role.

When the student clicks the button occasionally nothing will happen then other times it works and opens another lesson. 

We've discovered if you clear the cookies before you start the lesson that the buttons always work.  Is there another way to build the link that won't require the cookies to be deleted?  If they delete the cookies after they start running the course then it won't take them to the completion page because some of the directions to get there seem to be written to cookies.

I have an example of how to store and retrieve variables using Javascript to and get and set cookies from Captivate projects. Works great without any problems. I just need to figure out how to get the files over to you. I am new to this discussion forum.
