CP 5 - Simple nav question....

sorry for the N00b question -

I have a slide preso that needs to run almost exclusively from user navigation.

How do I make a slide (especially the first one) load, then stop or pause until the user clicks a button that I put on screen? I have some text I need the user to read and don't want to automatically advance the slide until they're good and ready. Then I'll also need to assemble next/back buttons, but I think I see how to do that....

Thanks in advance,

Rich

    Hi Rich

I'm sure you don't realize this, but you answered your own question.

To pause a slide you insert a Button or Click Box object. Either of these objects will stop the slide dead in its tracks until the user clicks the object.

    another 'duh question:

How do you rotate a button? In Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash Catalyst you just select the button and move your mouse over one of the corner guides and the cursor turns into a rounded arrow icon, then you simply use the mouse to rotate the object. I can't seem to figure this one out!
