CP2017 (10)- Embedded video moves slide forward when clicking pause

We have a video embedded directly in the slide.  Randomly on certain videos if you hit the pause button, the whole slide moves forward.  We've checked and checked all settings around the video embed, and nothing seems to fix this issue. We've also tried to remove the playbar, but it looks like chrome adds it back. Any tips on fixing this bug?   If we could just remove the play bar entirely that would solve our problem, but they always just reappear.

Is this happening on the first play of the lesson, or when the user resumes a lesson (exits the lesson and then relaunching the lesson and the LMS tells the Captivate player to resume at the last completed slide)?

I sometimes see objects that are marked to display for the rest of the project not load on resume, but then show up on the next slide and there after.

Thank you for your reply!

This happens no matter how many times you've viewed the object.  We use WordPress to host our packages with a custom Grassblade type plugin, so no real LMS.  We do send all our data to Learning Locker LRS.

I was thinking the playbar I'm seeing on the video is put there by the browser, but cross browser testing shows it the same. Also the broken playbar appears in the multiple browsers.

Has anyone else had issues with event video playbars?

We also just updated to the latest version.   Now trying to explain to our clients the auto play issue.  lol

You mean Captivate 10, also indicated as CP2017? Can you check he full version number? The most recent release is 10.0.1.285.

Are you talking about event video or synchronized video?

We're using event videos.   10.0.0.192

Please install the patch, you are still on the first release (had some bugs).

Event video plays totally independent from Captivate control. But if you provide the playbar and click the next slide, that will happen. At least if you are talking about the Captivate playbar, because event video has a dedicated control panel to control the video.
