CP2017 only German language pack available with license

Hello,

we have had a trial version in English and then decided to purchase a Captivate 2017 license. Now we are stuck with the German language version of Captivate and cannot install the English version any more.

We have English speaking employees and most Captivate training sessions we use (i.e. on lynda) are in English.

We need the English language version of Captivate 2017 and find it rather dissappointing that we do not have a choice of changing the language.

In a blog I have found a step by step instruction for a work-around but that does not work either, because I chose the trial version in English and during the installation it was changed back to German.

Please make a general change for paying customers to have a free choice for the language the program runs in and even be able to change between languages.

    Hi,

    The product language is tried to the serial number you are using and it picks it automatically as soon as you enter it.

    The ability to to get access to a different language license depends upon the licensing agreement and the region where the license is purchased.

    I would suggest you to contact support by clicking here and have them advise you as per the license you currently own.
