CP4: After being re-directed back to question, user cannot proceed taking quiz

Hello, everyone!

I have created a series of quiz questions. When one of these questions is answered incorrectly, the user is jumped to slides that replay the relevant content, so they can get this question right next time. Then, they are taken back to the question. The only problem is, the user is taken to the "review" view (don't know what else to call it), where you see the Your answer: and The correct answer is: table, and the Clear and Submit buttons are disabled. Click Skip, and the user is told "You did not answer this question completely," and cannot select any answer values in the quiz.

So, how can I do this while still allowing the users to take the questions over again? I've tried allowing more than one attempt to answer the question correctly, but then my "re-education" branches don't work.

Still new to Captivate, so, if there's an expert that can school me, it'd be much appreciated!

EDIT: I'm thinking I would just recreate the quiz in a different set of slides, and send the users there instead of the original question slides. But again, if anyone has a better idea, please let me know! Thanks!

Hi Richard,

For allowing Multiple Attempts for a Quiz, make sure that the following options are checked in Preferences

           1.  Go to Edit>Preferences Menu option,  Navigate to  ‘Quiz>Pass/Fail’

           2.  Set the value ‘100%’ or more of total points to pass

           3.  Check ‘Infinite attempts’ checkbox in ‘if failing Grade’ options.

Do the following settings in Question Slide>Quiz Properties Panel to navigate to a particular lesson/Slide when the user answers wrongly to a Question

           1.  Go to Question Slide’s ‘Quiz Properties’ Panel, Go to ‘Action’ Accordion

           2.  From ‘Last Attempt’ Drop down, Select ‘Jump to Slide’ and Select the destination Slide Number from the ‘Slides’ Dropdown. Make sure that all the                   destination slides(Lesson slides) are placed before the before the first question slide.

When the user jumps back to the lesson slides, all the Question slides will get reset so that they can answer the same question again.

Thanks, @nsukumar. I'll confirm all those settings are in place. And, btw, I'm Richard's daddy, not Richard
