CP4: Group in TOC

Hi everybody,

We are working on a project in Captivate4 with approx. 100 slides (and still growing).
As advised in the tutorial we used groups to keep this number of slides maintainable.
In the Table of contents we choose not to view the slides that are in the group, just the group header.
That should make navigating between 'chapters' (= groups) easier and the TOC less crowded.
However when previewing the project, we noticed that you can't navigate to a group-head, only to sub-slides.
The workaround would be to let go of the groups and just view the chapter slides in the TOC.
But then we loose the advantage of grouping. :confused.

Is there an option to make the group click-( and bookmark-)able in the TOC?

Kind regards,

Chris

Welcome to our community, Chris

I was just having a look at this and you are spot on. There seems to be no way to simply show only Group heads and allow navigation that way. Personally, I'm going to call it a bug and would encourage you to report it as same to Adobe.

Unfortunately I'm finding no decent workaround as yet.
