Question

CP5 and Streaming Video

We are thinking about setting up a server to stream video and have no idea how this is done.  So I guess I'm looking for any information.  I've read a little about the FLASH Streaming Video Server but I've also seen the discussions of issues folks have had using it.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Susan

Hello Susan,

You can host your videos using some server or application and can embed the Hosted path URL in Captivate's inserted Vidoe properties.

I would suggest you to read and explore the possibilities you have with streaming video in Captivate --

In case you face issues with that, check this Blog which speaks specifically for problems arising with URL structure and how to modify it to make it work.

This should give you a decent start to begin with.

Thanks,

Anjaneai

I tried the different format examples in the blog and none worked.  When I publish this I don't get the skin or the video.
