Cp5 - Normalize Audio Across Slides

Is there an easier way to normalize audio across a 30 slide project besides normalizing one slide at a time?  I do have eLearning Suite 2 with SoundBooth.  Any tricks folks would like to share?

TIA,

Jim Leichliter

Open all files in SoundBooth. Then right-click one of them and choose Add All to Match Volume Task. Then you can match all the volumes in the Volume Correction tab.

    Is that what you meant?

Not super easy, but Levelator II is a great program--and free!

It does more than just normalize. The only downfall is you need WAVs files to use it but CP5 exports WAVs.

We had narration recorded but the same person, but in four different locations. Each time, I'm guessing, the mic was at a different distance from the speaker and he seems to lean in to the mic over time. Levelator gave us a good baseline of sound the helped it sound much more consistent without the 2-3 day delay of having him re-record it.

We exported all our audio. Levelated it. And reimported it. Not too hard for better audio.
