CP5: Timeline audio not working

Until recently, I was able to play the timeline preview by clicking the forward arrow, and get both visual (mouse) and audio (voiceover).

Now the audio has stopped working.  The files are fine - I can right-click and play them, and they work fine in the browser preview and 'from this slide), but not in the 'Play this slide' or the timeline arrow.

I ran the recent upgrade, but I think it was working after that.

I've tried it with several projects, and I've rebooted, etc., but no change.

Has anyone else seen this, and does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Try the Mute-Sound On icon bottom left on the timeline screen.

The labelling on the icon is counter intuitive.
If the tiny little "soundwaves" are not in front of the speaker, then Mute is On.

Unintentional Operator error for sure, but also a poor choice of switch placement and functionality on the designer's part.

Hmmm...I don't seem to have any icon like that.  I took a quick look at RJ's blog on the UI, and couldn't see it there either.  What am I missing?

Edit:  FOUND IT, AND FIXED IT!!  On my high-res screen, the speaker looked like one of the arrows.

Thank you so much.  Such a small thing to cause so much frustration!

Good on You. It drove me crazy for awhile before I stumbled upon it.

It will also rear it's ugly head in the TOC, and CC screens.
