CP7 Random objects appearing

We have a project from another group that is showing an image and text on a slide that doesn't show on the timeline. The image is last used according to the usage report on slide 96 but it and some random text is showing on slide 115. I've checked and the timing on the image on slide 96 is set for rest of slide. On the filmstrip it doesn't show the image or text on the filmstrip.

This is happening on a question slide and CP7 isn't letting it be selected so you can delete it.

Does the object disappear from the published output if you HIDE that particular question slide?

IF so, delete the entire slide and rebuild another fresh one.

But either way, this is NOT a good sign. Things like this can sometimes indicate corruption creeping into the project.
