Cp8 - Help with Pausing Slide on Exit and Resume when Re-Enter where User left off

Hi Everyone,

I'm using Cp8 and hoping someone can quickly advise.  I have a non-quiz slide where a user has to choose from a variety of buttons to get the right answer.  In order for user to get the right answer, user may choose to click 2 support buttons on the side.  These support buttons branch user to content on another slide and allow user to review details (by clicking on more buttons), then return to the main slide to select the right answer.  When the user returns to the main slide, I can't have it start over, but instead pick up where the user initially left off.  Your quick direction would be greatly appreciated!

Ryan

Would like to help, but how did you set up those buttons? Do you want something like the dasboard in this example:

Picture this.  Two slides.  Slide 1 contains a multitude of buttons (some are right/wrong answers) and some buttons are "research" buttons that allow user to jump to another slide to do research first before selecting a right/wrong answer.  Once they've researched, they use button on "research slide" to return to Slide 1 to select right/wrong answer.  But each time user returns to Slide 1, the slide starts over.  At this point, I have not applied any actions to the "research" buttons because I'm trying to find the solution I need so that when user returns to Slide 1, it picks up where it left off.  Does that help?

No, doesn't help at all if I cannot see WHAT you have done. Did you look at that link? Do you have audio on that slide, are objects staggered and do you want the slide to retake from a certain frame? That is pretty complicated. Have a look at:
