CP8/Win7: Is there a way to change the compression ratio when Captivate saves files?

Hello,

When Captivate saves my project it essentially zips all the components into a single file.

Then when the file needs to be opened Captivate unzips it.

Although I use a PC dedicated to just Captivate, (no other programs running), with enough RAM and an SSD, the time the zip/unzip takes really gets on my nerves, I want it to go faster.

Is there a way to change the compression ration so that instead of zipping and reducing the size of the file, the data is zipped in a ‘stored’ manner.

I know that this will increase the size of the file, but I have plenty of hard drive space and would willingly use that if my save/open goes faster.

Thank you

Peter

Something's not right here.  If you have a fast PC with enough RAM and an SSD drive as well, then your project shouldn't be taking all that long to Save and Close or Open.

So what sort of times (in seconds) are we talking about here?  And how big are your project files (in megabytes)?
