CP9 and odd behaviour using Question Pools

Upgrading a project from CP8 to CP9 and we've had endless problems with the question slide.  At first they question slides were in the film strip and there they would randomly fall through before the student could submit an answer.  Rod advised checking to see if someone had changed the caption types from the default ones for questions.  They hadn't been but just to be safe the questions were rebuilt in CP9.  Still having them fall through.  Someone else suggested putting the questions in question pools and adding random questions to the filmstrip.  We've done that and now when one of the question slides appear the narration for a slide 3 slides later is playing.  Any ideas???????  My coworkers are renaming this program Craptivate.  HELP!!!!!!!!!

Question Pools don't usually make things easier if you're already having issues getting a quiz to work reliably.

Usually these types of issues are related to a particular project that has something wrong with it.  Captivate quiz slides don't normally act as yours are currently doing.

To test whether the issue is with your Captivate installation or the current project, I would suggest you create a new blank project, insert several typical question slides (True false, Multi-choice etc) change nothing on these slides at all, and then publish to test.  Do they also skip?
