Cp9 - Repeat Object & Effect on Single Slide

Does anyone know of a combination of advanced actions/conditional actions/variables/or any method that will allow me to repeat a single object & effect multiple times without having to duplicate the actual object several times?  Version Cp9.  Basically repeating the object and accompanying effects multiple times without having to dup the object.

    1. Manual way is to duplicate the effect and stagger them on the timeline
    2. Partially automatic: use an advanced action where you use the command Apply Effect multiple times, but each with a different start time (new feature in CP9)
    3. You could use the new  'Delay Next Actions by...' command in Advanced actions.

    Thanks! If I were to use ‘delay next actions by,’ what would I apply that advanced action to? None of the objects are interactive so I need to associate that action to something. Hmmm.
