CPVC Stop and Go?

Hello everyone,

Is the best way to use actions within CPVC files, is to import these files into a CPTX file?

I'm basically looking to give the student a chance to learn a procedure before moving forward.

I am using Captivate 8.

Thank you.

A CPVC slide is by definition non-interactive since it is a pure video slide. What do you mean by 'actions'? Can you explain better?

Thanks. I want to make the Captivate lesson more interactive so the student can move forward at her/his own pace. So I will be using actions in order to make the lessons more interactive. Right now I am thinking simple object actions to go to the next screen. However, I am sure it will get more complicated as I build it.

Just a Next button that pauses the slide at its end? Put a shape button on the main master slide, you'll need only one in that case. It can be set to pausing and will pause automatically at the end of each slide.
