Is there a way to create and add a new cursor image in Captivate? I'm using Captivate 5.5. I also have Flash CS4.

Thanks for your info. I have a lot more .cur files in my Windows directory than show up in Captivate???? So, are you sure that's where they're coming from?

AHHHHH. but I see I can pull the .cur files in from the BROWSE button in Captivate. that should work. Thanks.

LOL, as with anything one can seldom be absolutely certain about anything. Especially when programmers are involved. Tricksy coders, they can be!

It was always my own understanding that this is where Captivate obtained its list of cursors presented to the author.

It would be way cool if one of the development team were watching this thread and could respond to set us all straight on how things work "cursor-wise".

Hello? Adobe? Any of you watching this thread?

Hi there

I'm not a Flash propellerhead so can't help you there. But what Captivate does is to use existing .CUR files found on your Windows system. So you can probably coax that cursor into becoming available for Captivate by creating the desired .CUR file using an application that allows creating them. Plop the file into the Windows folder where the other .CUR files are found and you should be set.

While googling should reveal many different applications and methods for creating .CUR files, Microangelo is one of the better known.
