Question

Created flv file from Pinnacle and Captivate doesn't run it

I've been adding videos, xxx.flv file, via insert flash movie, for a few years now. I used Flash 8 video encoder and though the quality from avi to flv is diminished it worked with Captivate. I am now using Pinnacle to create the xxx.flv file and it seems to not work with Captivate but I cannot figure out why. Both xxx.flv files can be read by flash player without any issues.

Any suggetions would greatly be appreciated.

Hi there Scott

I believe that Captivate requires or expects additional metadata in order to correctly play .FLV files. Maybe Pinnacle is failing to include or add this metadata?
