Creating a 508 compliant Captivate Module

Greetings!

Recently I've been tasked with creating a fully 508 compliant Captivate module. This module must be rendered in HTML 5, accessible to screenreaders (Invisible button containing all onscreen text) Audio that cannot play automatically (must be available on click, paused on click, and resumed on click)

The module does not contain any animation or timed events. It's basically static slides with various click & reveals, and a button to launch audio.

I've been having a really hard time accomplishing this. I'd be curious to know if anyone out there has experience with using Captivate and 508 compliance.

I'm not sure I'm going the correct route with this, I may be overthinking it. Anyone out there been faced with this dilemma?

Search the forums for Justenuf2bdangerous, he/she has done a ton of research and testing for CP's 508. There are posts on what works and what doesn't.

You could also search for JAWS.
