Creating a multi choice option selection board on one slide

Captivate v5.5

I am hoping one/some of the experts out there can provide me with a simple explanation (repeat simple) with regard to the following:

I need to create a project covering 10 topics.

Each topic will have its own topic specific slide - however I want to present at the start of the project a single slide with all the 10 topics listed - for example in a 5 x 2 board and each topic would be a button showing the name of the specific topic.

I want the learners to be able to click on any topic button (free choice) - be taken to the topic specific slide and then return to the topic board.

The topic previously selected would now be greyed out (deactivated).

They have to continue to take all the remaining topics - again in any order they like.

After clicking on the the final topic and having finished on the topic specific screen, they move forward to the final slides to then exit the project.

Is this too much like herding cats and so a non-starter for a novice such as myself or is there a fairly simple way to achieve this?

Thank you in advance

    Hi Rod,

Had a quick look and that seems to be exactly what I am looking for.

I will follow your guidance as soon as possible but in the meantime thank you very much.
