Shortcuts using accesibility features.

From the user guide, "Learners can use standard keyboard shortcuts such as Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, and arrow keys to navigate, interact with content, and control playback during course consumption."

New Captivate can not create non-responsive projects. Shortcut keys only have sense in such a project, not in a responsive project because phones nor tablets have shortcut keys. Using a virtual keyboard is not the same.

Thanks for the quick reply. There is some logic to what you say. But certainly code could be written that applies keyboard shortcuts only to PCs. Plus, in my Captivate 12 project, there are some inbuilt states that instruct the viewer to "click anywhere or press 'y' to continue." Pressing "y" on the keyboard does, in fact, advance the viewer to the next slide. See attachment.

That was possible in previous versions. This version i clearly aimed at mobile devices in the first place, not at desktop/laptops. Quizzing is the inky feature where former versions have been created for the most part althogh not completely. Hence that olfd message. Y or click/tap triggers a very simple action and is not a custom script like you can create with the interaction.  It is part of the builtin functionality of quiz slides, like tge appeance of the correct feedback message, update of quizzing variables.

Jnow that the possibility to include JS has decreased a lot in this version. Moreover it has some issues with keyboards which are not the simple US keyboard.
