Is there a way to create PDFs from Captivate 9 source files? What are the alternatives?

Thanks in advance!

I wonder what you mean by 'pdf' because most people think just about pdf as being a digital print. The PDF that you can create with the Publish options of Captivate is an interactive pdf (needs Adobe Reader and Flash player), where the CP-file will play (almost) as it would be when published to a LMS or a webserver.

If you want to have a pdf as being a digital print, you'll need first to use File,Print to create a Word document (with option Handouts perhaps), then create the pdf from that Word- document.

There is a publish to PDF option, yes.

Alternatives are HTM/SWF and HTML5 as well as EXE (self-running executable player).
