Creating Widgets not working

I have followed the instructions to begin creating a widget but after I click OK on the "Create a new widget" box, nothing happens. I have Adove Flash CS4 and Captivate 6.

    Think the discrepancy between the versions is the cause CP6 and Flash 4

    Is it possible to create widgets for Captivate by just opening up Flash?

    You can create animations in Flash, but be careful to choose AS3 because CP6 only supports that version. However, widgets allow communication between Captivate and the widget. Have a look at InfoSemantics website, they have a great widget API, maybe you'll find the information you are looking for over there:
