CS6 Installation onto new machine

I would like to install the Adobe CS6 for students onto a new machine as my old laptop is giving me problems. Should I uninstall it on the current machine and re-install onto the new machine? I purchased through Adobe Online Help and I provided them with my linked email address, id number and telephone number. The attendant assisted me over skype. Now, for the first time, I have had to log onto the Adobe Website - I see that my profile linking to my email address does not exist. Further more, when I put my code in, I see that my code has been allocated to another id. What do I do and where do I go from here?
