Custom mouse needs to be saved as a PICT, but PICT not supported in Photoshop!

I want to create a custom mouse pointer in Captivate. Apparently I need to save my customised cursor as a PICT file (for MAC), but PICT file format is no longer supported by Photoshop where my custom mouse image has been created. That is certainly not round-trip editing between two Adobe products is it!

How do I resolve this?
