Can you cut a piece of audio from one slide and paste it into another? So that, for example, you take the audio from one slide & append it to the audio on another slide?

Me, too. Does anybody happen to know? I'm especially interested in how you can do this in Captivate version 1.

    Thanks.

Okay gang, this question is twofold - I'll try to address both types of questions

Copying a small piece of audio from one slide to another
Assuming all your audio appears at the slide level, it should be fairly easy to do. Click Audio > Edit Timing... and you should see all the audio in the movie. Well, all audio appearing at slide level anyway. While in this view, you simply use the mouse to click and drag across the audio segment, copy it to the clipboard, find the slide where you want to paste the segment, paste and you are good.

Using audio from one slide on another
With this one, simply examine the properties of the slide containing the desired audio clip. Note the name assigned to the audio. Now dismiss the slide properties and examine the properties of the slide you want to copy that audio to. Click the Audio Library... button. Select the name of the clip you noted earlier and the audio clip is assigned.

    Hopefully this helps... Rick
