Delay in Success Button Captions

I have several buttons within the timeline that appear at different stages. On the second set and third set of buttons there is a 4-5 second delay before the success captions show. I have tired moving the point that the pause appears and also the length of the button. The timeline does not move as it is set to pause for captions. This is the first time I have seen this happen.

Version: Captivate 5.5

User Level: Advanced - I have used captivate 5.5, 40 hours a week for almost a year.

Why do you have two buttons, one with and one without a pausing point? They have the same timeline duration. Are they on different locations on the stage?

Yes they are at different locations. One has the assigned no action and the other has the assigned action to continue. These were copies of the first two buttons which caused some kind of caption delay glitch. Since then I have recreated the transparent buttons and it seems to be working.
