Delaying Objects

It seems that if I set an object to appear after 2 or more seconds, the object never appears. If I set it back to 1 second, the object appears. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Timing. All in the timing and mix of elements.

You probably have a Button, Click Box or Text Entry Box object pausing the slide. Check the duration and pause point.

You know, I have been trying to adjust the timing on one slide as you suggest. I have a text box and caption appear. I have it set to continue once they type the correct text. I am then trying to have another caption and click box appear. However, it won't appear. Is there some key that needs to be hit after the text is entered other then 'Enter'. In the timeline, these two things are not overlapping one another. What am I doing wrong?

What you are wanting should be possible. But without seeing your project first hand, it may be difficult to guide you.
