Deleted bookmark learning interaction widget still appears in output (Captivate 2017)

I tried the bookmark learning interaction widget, didn't like it, and removed it from my project. It is still appearing in the output.

I've republished several times, cleared caches, restarted the web-server. Still stubbornly there.

I could reproduce this partially: bookmark remains after deletion on slides that have been bookmarked in a previous Preview. I could get rid of it by deleting the bookmarked slides (after copying all other items on the slide) and recreating that slide. Bookmark remains visible in the Filmstrip before doing that, easy to find those slides.

It looks like a bug to me, was this the same experience you had?

I moved the publish location, republished, deleted everything, moved it back, republished and it now seems to be gone.

I'm confused. Don't know now if it is a bug or just me.

It was an unexpected behavior to me, I only previewed HTML5 in Browser. I put the Bookmark interaction on the first slide. When I deleted it, it reappeared only on slides that had been bookmarked. Maybe this is by design, but I didn't like that.
