Deleted buttons from gallery

Hi all. I've deleted from my gallery a set of png's I created for a bespoke button but they still show as available in my 'image button' selection within the project...... how do I remove these. They are obviously stored locally within the project, and I have cleared my cache, but there they are, still showing as available. Just trying to keep a tidy work space!
