In my demo, the slides are no longer auto advancing.  On the properties panel, under actions-On enter:  Continue On exit:  No action

Ok, the other interactive objects are buttons with click boxes to navigate back to the menu, knowledge check and navigation reminder. So in other words there is just too much going on.  This was all added after the demo.  So if those items are removed will this allow auto advance?

I want the screen to advance automatically.

Select the two click boxes that have a pausing, and in their Options accordion, uncheck 'Pause project until user clicks'.  I suppose the 'Pause for Failure/Success captions' is already unchecked.

Which version are you using? Is this a demonstration captured with Captivate in Automatic mode? Could you post a screenshot of the timeline of a slide?

You say 'no longer...', does that mean that this file has worked? Are you talking about a published file or preview?

I'm using Captivate 6.  It was recorded automatic mode.  I had to paste the demo into another project.  In that project it does auto advance.  This is in a preview.

This is apparently not created in demonstration, but probably in Training or even Assessment Simulation mode. In those modes, the user is expected to do one action on each slide, and CP will insert one interactive object for that purpose.  But this slide has been modified a lot after capture.

Slide cannot automatically advance, because there are two interactive objects that pause the slide: one at 3 seconds and one at the end of the slides. The other interactive objects (buttons, one more click box) don't have a pausing. It seems strange to me that the Automatic capture would have added all those interactive objects, this has been done manually IMO. Normally each slide will ask the user to do one action, and that will be either clicking on a click box or entering a text in a Text Entry Box.

What did you want to happen, or did someone else change this slide?
