Demonstration within a Custom movie

Hello all,

I have created a custom movie into which I am trying to place a demonstration movie. What is the best way to end the demonstration and advance the movie to the next slide in the original (custom) portion? When I inserted the demonstration and published the movie, the demonstration begins as it is supposed to (about halfway through the custom portion of the movie) but when it ends, the movie does not advance.

Thanks for the advice. I tried various things you suggested (as wll as other things), and finally just had to pull that movie out.

Hey there lionfriend

Am I correct in assuming that you have only 1 movie that becomes a demonstration at some point and then goes back to whatever the movie is about?? If this is the case, then it seems as though you might have an object on the last slide of the demonstration section that is pausing the movie. On the other hand, if the demo is being opened via an object in movie 1 and you require it to play and then close so that the user can continue with movie 1?
Movie 1 object set to open file/url etc, make sure "Continue to play" is not selected and that you are opening the demo in a New window.
Demo - set properties for start/end to close project at end.

Please shout if you still need assistance, but not too loud as I have a hangover of note.
