Question

Different responses for each wrong answer - possible?

Hello!

I'm a Captivate newbie and can't figure out how to set up my questions so that there is a different response for each incorrect answer.  So rather than having just "incorrect, try again" (or something like that) when the learner makes a mistake, I can have phrases like "not quite right.  The vertical axis should be slightly more inverted.  Try again."  and "Nope, not right.  The horizontal axis has too high a slope."  which would appear depending on which incorrect answer the learner chose.  Hope this makes sense.

Can anyone help?  Thanks!!

Sreekanth meant that Advanced Answers are only available for one type of question MCQ (Multiple Choice), and only when 1 correct answer is possible.

I would offer a tip when working with Quizzes: please change the workspace to Quizzing, so that you have the Quiz Properties in the left dock and the Properties in the right dock, because you'll have to use both intensively especially when working with Advanced Answers (not Actions, Sreekanth). You have to select an individual answer to see the Advanced Answer Option appearing. Don't confuse with the Action accordion that is on Question Slide  level, not on Answer level.

You can do that for single answer choice type of questions.

Double-click the option, select the Advanced Answer check box and Show Feedback Message check box from the Advanced Actions accordion of Properties. You will now get a new text box where you can add the feedback for that option.

See the screenshot for reference.
