Hello!
I am fairly new using Adobe Captivate 12 and I am self-tought since I am the first to create any kind of e-learnings in my company.
I am working on a project, where useres should only be able to use specific buttons to go back and forth.
But I also want to include the TOC. Hence my question as to how I can disable the interaction with the TOC. So that it is only visible but cannot be used for navigation.
Greatful for any kind of help!

Real advanced workflows cannot be used at this moment.  I use Captivate since more than two decades. None of the requests by my clients can be done in this new version which is clearly meant for another audience than those clients. Companies will not be happy if they ever end Captivate Classic. They are already looking out for alternatives.

If you were using Classic I would recommend to  create a custom TOC. That is now impossible as well because you cannot have anything timed for more than one slide due to that hype to have only responsive projects.

I am very sorry, but all the settings which were available in previous versions for the TOC are missing except some minor ones. It used to be possible to disable all navigation, or allow only navigation to already visited slides. Please add your voice to support the request to restore those settings. You can reach the uservoice platform using the option under Help.

Thank you, even though I had hoped for better news.
I just added my voice to your post.
I read about a workaround with variables and advanced options and already tried some things but had no luck yet.
