Distribute Audio Over Multiple Slides

When I try to distribute audio over multiple slides in Captivate 8, it places the markers from slide 2-17 after the audio is done.  I cannot move the markers as it says, you have reached the minimum display time for slide 1, which is at the end of the audio.  All slides were set for 3 seconds.  I imported the audio to the first slide and then selected Distribute audio file over several slides.  The Edit window opens, but I'm unable to move the slide markers where I need to. Can anyone help me with this?
