Do the audios in Captivate have correcsponding <audio> HTML elements?

We are trying to fix the issue that audio does not automatically play in Safari 11.  In order for me to write a workaround script, I need to find the <audio> element in the DOM, but I don't see one.  Does anyone know if the audios have a corresponding HTML <audio> element?
