Document Control Software?

I'm looking for software to track revision control of my Captivate 5 lessons.  I need to open the lesson, make changes so that what was changed is visible, route the new revision for approval, accept the changes (delete the old text)  and publish the new lesson.  Any recommendations?

We still use SourceSafe here for most projects, and that's nice as it integrates with the version of Dreamweaver that most folks use.

Word is we're likely going to switch to subversion (not sure why, though maybe because that's now supported by DW?).

Captivate, however, has no such integration...so you can certainly setup a source-control environment like SourceSafe or Subversion, and setup project folders within...but nothing directly for CP checkin/checkout...though maybe that's not what you need anyway...
