Hello,

Does Captivate 7 files will work in Captivate 8?

I created a lot of captivate 7 projects and I want to upgrade to captivate 8. I want to know if Captivate 7 files will work in Captivate 8.

Thanks.

You can use Captivate 8 to open Captivate 7 CPTX files, but this will then mean they are upgraded to Cp8 format.

The main thing you should be aware of about upgrading to the new Cp8 version is that you cannot automatically upgrade Cp7 projects to use the new Cp8 responsive HTML5 format.  That requires totally rebuilding your project.  However, you can still use normal non-responsive HTMl5 output and HTM/SWF output.  EXE is no longer an option with Cp8.
