Does Captivate 9 publish SCORM 2004 4th Edition compatible packages?

I see SCORM 1.2 and 2004 in the options but not sure how 2004 4th edition fits into this equation? Is it just the latest version of SCORM 2004 and does Captivate 9 publish packages that are compatible?

Any help or SCORM 101 links would be helpful!  Thanks!

Your choice of SCORM version is more likely to be governed by which versions of SCORM are supported by your target LMS.  So before you publish to any of the options Captivate provides, talk to your LMS Admin and find out what you CAN expect to work. 

Just about all LMSs support SCORM 1.2, and some support 2004, but I've heard of very few that mention supporting SCORM 2004 version 4. If they support it at all it is more likely to be version 3.

Yes, you can choose 4th Edition in the publish settings.
