Question

Does not publish last slides

I have a project that is 106 silde long. After I publish the file to SWF, it creates the first 69 slides correctly, but from slide 70 on it pauses the show, and shows a white screen. You can advance through the slides using the forward button, but this also leaves the slides white.

It may be because I have been having trouble publishing the project as it stalls on "Writing SWF Files to Stream".

Any help would be very muxh appreciated.

Doug

The stalling when "Writing SWF files to stream" indicates that your system doesn't have enough resources to process the file.

Try and close down all other programs than Adobe Captivate and re-publish.

If that doesn't help then you can either try publishing your file from a system with more available resources (RAM) or follow Rick's suggestion of splitting your project into smaller chunks.

    Hi Doug

Likely the project simply has too many slides. Any chance of splitting it? Usually we recommend project slide numbers are limited to between 50-65.

The only suggestions to offer are to try turning off any form of compression via Edit > Preferences > Project > SWF Size and Quality.

    Cheers... Rick
