Don't have the option to publish as an executable

When I go to publish in Captivate 8 I don't have the option to publish as an executable.

Sounds like you must be on Captivate version 8.0 and need to update it to Captivate 8.1.

The option to publish to EXE was missing in the first version and restored in the later one.

You may have to dig around on the Adobe website to find the download files for the patched version.
