Downgrade option in adobe captivate 2017 cloud vs adobe captivate perpetual license

I am working for a client and want to procure a license.

if i purchase a adobe captivate 2017 cloud license, can i save the project file in adobe captivate 9? Client has adobe captivate 9 perpetual version?

No, you can open a CP9 file in CP2017, but not the reverse. You'll need to have CP9 version.

Try to inform if you can install both CP9 and CP2017 with a perpetual license. That is the possible for the CC applications, maybe it is also the case for Captivate.
