Yes, I have full admin rights to my machine.  The full error is "Adobe Genuine Software Verification Failure".  I thought this was a tech support line.  How do i get my question to Adobe tech support?

Ok, i think part of my problem is that I already have Creative Cloud installed.  How do I install Captivate 9 when I have Creative Cloud installed?  I am running  Windows 10, 64 bit.

I do have CC installed as well, no problem at all to install both CP and CC. That certainly is not the cause of your problems.

Some users reported problems when some corrupt fonts were installed. Is it possible to get temporarily back to the limited set of system fonts?

I had no problem installing creative cloud.  We have an enterprise account and I was hoping captivate was part of cc, but unfortunately it isnt.

How do I "get back to the limited system fonts"  as far as I know, I have a vanilla, plane jane install of windows 10 and creative cloud.  I haven't installed any new fonts.

Alternative for the Adobe site is this legal site to download Captivate:

Nope, that didn't work either.  How can I test this out?

    Thanks,

It looks more to be an issue with your system, or a firewall. Are you able to install trial versions of other Adobe apps?
