Downloaded Captivate 2019 on New Mac, Have serial number but won't let me enter

Good day, 

I just set up my new mac and am trying to add the Captivate 2019 I purchased. I have a serial number for the software as I am NOT on the subscription model. It started me on a 30 day trial - but that is not going to do it as the courses I build will also expire in 30 days. Sadly, I have been through this before but this time I do not even have a place where I can put the serial number. Please direct me to the right place.

    You will not like my answer, but know that I am just a user.  There are no longer perpetual licenses for the most recent versions of Captivate. Since you are on a Mac, you probably have the most recent Mac OS, and that is only supporting version 11.8 of Captivate which exists only as subscription license. Sorry

    I appreciate the answer. I would really just love a chance to talk to someone at adobe to get a concrete answer.
