DpiAwareness issue and can't find AdobeCaptive.ini file

Getting the alert when try to open the video demo or simulation on Captivate 9 ---> Please set DpiAwareness=1 in AdobeCaptivate.ini

I have read how others resolved the DpiAwareness issue for Captive 9 with OS 10 on a PC. However, I can't find the AdobeCapitvate.ini file where suggested to look. It is not there. Did a search on my computer and still didn't find anything. How can I resolve this issue? Need to resolve ASAP since I have a project stating in a few days.

It is linked with retina screens: to make a capture you have change that parameter, to use Captivate you have to reset it. Pretty cumbersome, I keep two versions of the ini file ready to interchange.

You need administrator rights to be able to access that file. It is in the installation folder of Captivate, whatever OS you are using.

Hi Lilybiri

Yes, I do have admin rights. Still unsure what I am suppose to do. I don't understand what you are suggesting I do.

Start by finding that file in the installation folder of Captivate. Make a copy of that file to another location. Open it with a text editor that doesn't add formatting: I use Notepad on Windows. Find the line with the parameter DpiAwareness and change its value as indicated. Save that file. Rename now the original file with a significant name (AdobeCaptivateNoCapture.ini could do) and copy your new file to the installation folder. You'll have to do the reverse when you ended capturing and wants to use Captivate. If you don't do that, the UI will be so tiny on a retina screen that it is almost unusable;
