Drag and Drop Interaction Wizard

Hello,

Does anyone know that many-to-one relationship supported in Drag and Drop Interaction Wizard in Captivate 8?  Looks perfectly works for one-to-one relation, but can't make it work for many-to-one.

Thanks!

Can you give more details? I have been using the D&D in CP8 for many-to-one dragging. Personally I never use the wizard, just the D&D panel, but you can easily start with the wizard and tweak later on. The snapping section for the drop targets lets you even specify how many drag sources have to appear when dropped, why should that be necessary if you couldn't use many-to-one target dragging?

Hi Lilybiri,

Thanks for the response.

I used the 'Drag and Drop Interaction Wizard' in Captivate 8, and to make simple, I only created 3 images; two for drags and one for drop.  No types are specified. I connected the arrow from drag_1 to drop_1, and drag_2 to drop_1.  When I do preview from the slide by dragging either of drag_1/drag_2 to drop_1, the failure text comes up.  Only way to get the success message is to move both drag_1 and drag_2 to drop_1.  But I want to make it dragging either one of them will lead to correct message.

After reading your response, I clicked the drop_1 image, I only see 'Position', 'Size', 'Depth', and 'Audio' under 'Snap Behavior'.  This is under 'DRAG AND DROP' tab on the properties.

Please let me know.

Thanks for your help!!  Much appreciated.

Snapping only appears when you select a drop target, not a drag source. Maybe have a look at my blog post:
