Question

Drag and Drop - not getting success and failure - different sounds

Am trying to have jackpot for success for the drag and drop (one source per target). I have this set up which I understand should play 'jackpot' for a successful drop.

And this set up for a failure drop attempt. (SHould play the remediation incorrect sound 3). BUT all I am getting is this incorrect sound and no success sounds are being played.

Any one who can assist? Thanks!!!!

Liz

Actually. I think it is working.  I have just listened to jackpot and will change the sound. It does not sound very successful.  I think this is ok and is working. Will acknowledge soon.

I don't seem to be able to override the success sound. It is not taking a new sound. Although there are definitely now two sounds. One for failure, one for success. I am trying to get it to pick up cymbals, or even the default sound 1 or default sound 2???

See the cymbals sound? It is not finding that! It finds the correct failure but not success sound.

The place in the Drag and Drop properties where you are adding sound is for the Snapping Behaviour.

If you want a specific sound to play ONLY when a given Drag object has been dropped on the correct Drop target then you configure that under the Object Actions.

If you want a sound to play ON Success or ON Failure of the entire Drag and Drop interaction then you configure that under the Drag and Drop tab > Actions section.
